John Minkowskyj's comment about classic photographs made me think about traditional black and white photography. I looked at the images by the old masters like Paul Strand, Walker Evans and Edward Weston just to name a few of my favourite photographic artists. So here another image, which shows the richness of traditional black and white photography.

what a great photo. I love these old houses that were added on, and on, and on. Wish I had a photo of our old family home.
