A long time ago I read a book on industrial archeology in Britain. The topic interested me because of course we have many old remains of our own industrial past here in Canada. So when I find a site like this last remnant of the Ellsmere Bros sawmill in Tilden Lake I simply have to record it. Again I think a black and white image reflects the historical past of this remnant of a once thriving mill.

Nice one, Mike.
I agree with Rob - it IS a nice one. Did you get a chance to look at the inside?
Were there a lot of abandoned structures on the site?
I love exploring places like that.
Actually this burner is all that is left of the old mill.
I live in Tilden Lake, Ontario and this Building is still standing. Alot of the main offices and bunkies on the street where the mill used to be are still here and have been turned into houses.
