INTERIOR, CHAPEL, L'ISLE-AUX-COUDRES
This is the interior of the chapel of yesterday's posting. For me, it feels like literally stepping back in time. We had those roadside chapels in Holland but now they have to be closed if you did not want to eiter see them vandalized or robbed.

You're right, Mike, this is literally stepping back in time. The altar is right up against the wall, as in pre-Vatican ll times. Nowadays, one finds it moved forward with the priest/minister facing the congregation.
