CLOSE UP ENGINE 503
I could not resist posting another picture of the old train engine. These old steam train engines were magnificent machines even when, like this one, they have not been under steam for decades and been negelcted all this time.
This is a great shot. Unfortunately the big minds with the spray cans have gotten at the rest of the train. Engine 503 and its attached cars deserve better treatment than they have received from these idiots. Better days to come when it is rehabilitated and moved to the new park area. Bob
i love old steam trains. we have a steam train museum and train line where i live. It's grat and fre to visit. You only pay if you want to ride the trains on the line. THere's old engine sheds which you can visit and photographic opportunities by the bucket load. Funny how it's on my doorstep yet i visit it very rarely. sad.
