WINTER HYDRANGEA

Walking by the Lutheran church here in North Bay, I made this simple picture  but I liked the texture of the walls contrasting with this hydrangea. It works better in black and white. The tonal values are stronger when simplified from colour to a rich gray tone image.

Reds! Wow!

I was thinking that some winter shots might benefit from having a mat to lie down on - imagine the church through the hydrangea!

You two do a great job for tourism in North Bay! I'm really thinking I must get there again - haven't been since 1968.
