LINOLEUM
I am still working on some of the pictures I took a few days ago of the pile of garbage people just dump in the country. Old cardboard and piece of linoleum, which have started to decay. However I made some very interesting images from these discarded "bits". it will make for a nice limited edition set of abstract prints.

ABSTRACT, SANDPIT, NORTH BAY
Yesterday I decided to see what changes took place at the sandpit. I knew that the owner was removing the old equipment but to my surprise I found only a conveyor belt left. I did find some garbage people left behind , which was some old cardboard boxes and scraps of old linoleum. Actually I made some interesting abstracts from this discarded material. Here is one of these pictures.

LIGHT AND FORM II
We returned last night from our trip to Ottawa. Of course we enjoyed the time with our family but I did not get a chance to take many pictures, except a lot of family shots. When I saw the light streak on the wall behind the plant down the hallway at my daughters home I thought about my earlier image, which I posted a few weeks ago. The form and texture of the plant contrasts nicely with the smooth background.

HOSTA
Hostas are some of my favourite garden plants and I guess, judging by the popularity of this plant, I am certainly not unique in my choice. I like ,beside the various colours, the shape and texture of the foliage. For this image I used a split toned effect to emphasize the pattern of the leafs.by the way I wont be able to post until next Wednesday because I will be out of town visiting our children in Ottawa.See you next week again.
