BLACK, BLUE AND RED

This morning on one of my walks around North bay  I came across this "abstract" painting on a plywood fence. I enjoy photographing this type of painterly subject matter so of course I could not resist making a series of images from a variety of markings on this fence.

Hi Mike,
Remember a few years ago when there was a big uproar over an abstract painting of a single red line down through the middle of a white canvas? It cost the Canadian tax payer over a million dollars I believe. This abstract shot that you show here has a lot more artistic interest I believe, be it accidental, intentional, or what ever caused it to be. Even the knots provide added texture and interest. Great stuff! Thanks, Dave
