SNOW

Another snowstorm. I made little tour today through the pretty but very familiar snowy landscapes. I took this photograph on the grounds of the old monastery, now the fine art campus of Nipissing university here in North Bay. I liked the optical illusion of the positive and negative image created by the black surface of the pond. It is always a challenge to depict the Winter in a new and unique way without getting the typical calendar pictures of romantic Winter scenes.

Fantastic shot Mike. I was out during the storm, in my town, trying to take shots from different angles; with wind and cold upsetting me!
Here's to a fast November!
