The first signs of Winter is the early morning frost. It forms beautiful textures and colours on the last leaves before the first snow. Nonie thought the picture of Duchesnay falls was too commercial and I agree but I would rather call this image "visual comfort food" We are familiar with this type of image, which does not stir our imagination. By the way the image is a strait photograph without any manipulation in Photoshop. The soft look of the running water is simply the result of a long exposure.

Mike,my teacher, this brought an 'ahh' from me! Excellent detail, feathery, almost feel the chill in the air, the cool sun of winter. I felt this one.
