NEW APARTMENT, KANATA, ONTARIO
Time to start posting again. We moved last Fall from North Bay, a small city in Northern Ontario, to Kanata a suburb an satellite community of Ottawa. Adjusting to this totally new environment was quite an emotional disruption to our lives and we are still trying to assimilate to our new suburban lifestyle. Of course I am slowly adjusting my photography to our new way of life. So yes I see my images change. Black and white is becoming more prominent in my photographs. Getting more adapted to living to our suburban life I think I’ll see a new interesting style developing in my photography.

Go with the flow Mike. You might just enjoy where it takes you. Accept what is. Cheers! Dave
Thanks David, I have no choice now of course we moved here permanently. Last Summer I had some real medical problems and our daughters persuaded us to move closer to them. However it was a great emotional disruption after living in North Bay for 55 years.
Yup, I hear you. We were in North Bay for 35 years, and after 17 years in Windsor, I still miss living so close to nature. Our kids and grandkids live close by, and that has its own special rewards. We do what we have to do. Cheers! Dave
Not quite Cedar Heights, then…but you will find all the interesting spots and happy places you need, I’m sure. Fresh scenes to challenge you!
