Going down the street this morning I passed the old Thorn farm property and I just had to stop and walk into the abandoned fields to wander around this beautiful natural garden. It was raining and that created this wonderful soft atmosphere. what a great visual feast.

Love this image Mike....wish I could sit in that field for a day with a macro lens...reminds me of the property the old Ontario Hospital was on just a bit further up the Highway. Reclamation is well under way there also. Sorry I did not get to visit on my last trip North. I was visited by an ear problem that is still problematic, and have to see the Dr. again tomorrow. We are hoping to go for a Fall vacation, but I hesitate to go out of province until this is cleared up. Maybe, we will take another trip North when the leaves are turning in a little while hopefully.
