THE BERLIN BRIDGE ENTERING HALIFAX HARBOUR

On a grey misty morning, I am watching the ships entering large tankers and container ship entering the port of Halifax. When this large ship passed me I noticed the little pilot boat behind this huge ship. It was funny actually because it appeared as if the tiny boat was pushing  this Goliath into port.

Great shots of Halifax Mike...loved the Keith shot! You might find the info in this link about the pilot boats of Halifax interesting. I may get down that way in a couple of weeks...hopefully. Dave

Thanks David, I included your link in my comment. It is a very interesting story.You never really think about these types of highly skilled and also adventurous jobs. Halifax is a great city and yes I think we will go back there in the near future.
