BLUE ON RED. NORTH BAY
An abstract composition, which reminds me of the color field painting, a very popular style of painting originating during the forties and fifties in New York. The Canadian abstract painter Jack Bush was closely related to this painting movement.

I always find your comments on parallel painting with photography interesting and directing towards further research on the part of your viewers, Mike. I've learned a lot about photographers and painters from your past comments. I like this image of yours very much.

Vivid colours supported also by strong graphics and composition Mike. Really like it. Dave
Glad you liked the image David. I took this on a little photo trip with some of my photographer friends.
