GREEN STAIRS, COBALT,ON
This old silver mine is a landmark in Cobalt. At one time it was part of a butchershop. The butcher used the shaft as a cooler. I was attracted by the green stairs . The combination of stairs, fence and shaft makes for an interesting composition.
Another nice shot, Mike. Over the years a few restaurants/cafes have opened up at this location. Unfortunately, due to economic pressures, they didn't endure. Still, it was a great site to have a meal or coffee at, overlooking the main street.
