This image is actually for my friend Gerry, who is working in a very wintery Russia. I took this picture yesterday afternoon on one of my little walks around the streets of North Bay. The flowers should cheer him up when he sees this Winter flowerbox.

Definitely a time not to complain about plastic flowers - they look wonderful!
Of course, in England the snow drops and helibore are probably blooming already*. Gerry needs a mini-break or stopover to enjoy them before he returns to his/our frozen wastelands.
*Though maybe they are discouraged by this cold winter, too!
