ABANDONED HOUSE, RESTOULE, ONTARIO
Old abandoned houses always intrigue me. I wonder about who built and lived in the place and what were their stories. This old place in Restoule is ready to collapse but it still has a story to tell.
I think this picture speaks more than a thousand words. I think of who built the house, who was raised, why it is now abandoned. A good photo can stir these imaginings.
I live in Restoule, see the house everyday!!! Know some of the history but.... Better yet there are more houses just like this one and more history and stories to go with them... Sometimes the imagination of what you see and what you want to think is better left in a simple picture rather than the reality of the truth. Beautiful picture Mike.
Looks like a haunted house from a movie set.

ReplyDeleteYes I was attracted to the house for the same reasons that interested you in the image
