I can't resist posting another black and white picture of the empty Evers Hotel in Trout Creek. I hope that David Ernst enjoys this image like he did yesterdays image of the same hotel. Glad to hear from you David it has been quiet awhile. So keep in touch.

Very nice tonal range in these B&W's Mike. Did you shoot in B&W mode, or convert from colour? Thanks, Dave

Enjoy this image also, Mike. The originals must be very vibrant. Do you attempt to do most of your work in-camera or do you rely a lot on computer fine-tuning? I imagine that it depends on each individual shot. Will certainly keep in touch.

No I always shoot in colour mode because I feel that I have a greater control in photoshop when I translate my images into black.

It brings back memories as my Dad used to take me and my 2 Brothers to stay there on vacation during the summer when we were young.

I’m an Evers (down the line with new last name). But my grandmother grew up in and around that hotel. Thanks for the photo
